Margaret and I, along with two friends, had a fabulous day in London yesterday having visited the London eye and Thames river cruise before driving back up to the Royal Albert Hall for the recording of BBC songs of praise "Big Sing" which can be seen on October 31st and the Christmas programme on Boxing Day.
I would like to remind all those who may be interested that the Village at Barkinside is open to the public on Sat & Sun 18th & 19th September. the event on Sunday coinsides with this years Barnardo Memorial service which takes place at 3pm in the Village church. Margaret & I will be there as I have been asked to do a reading at the Service. Afterwards we will be driving to Dover for an overnight stay in Calais before Diving down to Spain the following morning. we will be back intime for the Goldings reunion and WILL BE SEEN AT THE BAR even if we are using Euros!
