I feel I must add to Alan Dearmans message and say how much I agree with him, to arrange the visit to Goldings, plus the reunion, on top of all the everyday things like the web site is very impressive. Over the years the reunion has had many dedicated old boys, John James, Tom Cotton,and many, many others,people that will always go that bit extra, and you are one of them, we are very lucky to have you. Now the dust has settled after the excitement of last weekend, I have had some time to reflect on what was an absolutely fabulous day. We are so lucky as I doubt if there is a family in the world that could celerbrate a family day better than the "Goldings Family". I feel that our family has now been extended with the addition of the present day residents who made us all very welcome when they opened up their doors to us and It was so nice that they were also able to visit us at the community centre were they were made welcome. We all owe our thanks to Dave and family once again for his hard work, not just the reunion, but also the web site which goes from strength to strength with more people finding us which enabled a few new faces at the reunion, who I hope were made to feel most welcome. We should also say thanks to brian & Helen for their huge contribution. The only thing to add is, roll on October 2011!

The latest recruit this year to our reunion was Charles Jones who came to Goldings in 1932! and he certainly put me in my place after talking to him, with my hand in my pocket! he must have been a prefect! "Stand to attention when I'm talking to you boy"
