Hi Dave,
Was great talking to you my friend on the phone about the "OLE" times at Goldings. I'll write some stories about my time spent as a boy in there like I promised when I get some extra time in the next while.
As I said on the phone, I'm taking off to Vancouver Island, (Canada) and Washington, (U.S) getting ready to go on vacation for the rest of May.

Now if stories of the past were believed, this latest from DB takes the biscuit. The air escaping from the package polluted this fine air of the Fens, creating smog and clogging up my airways causing me to collapse on the floor with laughter.
Good answer Dave, thank goodness for grandchildren.
By the way folks, a new addition is expected in a few months, will post here when I am again blessed.

IT'S OBVIOUS THAT WOODY IS NOT TELLING THE FULL STORY OF THE ENVELOPE, AND JUST TRYING TO INFER THAT I AM A THICK SOMERSET BOY. NOW LET ME COMPLETE THE FULL STORY. IN HIS QUEST FOR IMPROVED BREATHING, I SUGGESTED WHEN I WAS NEXT IN WATERFORD I WOULD CAPTURE SOME OF THE AIR IN THE VILLAGE THAT HE ONCE BREATHED AS A YOUTH TO HELP IMPROVE HIS HEALTH. BUT AFTER ALL THESE YEARS I'D FORGOT HE WAS OUT OF CAIRNS, CONSEQUENTLY INSTEAD OF FOLLOWING THE INSTRUCTIONS ON THE PACKAGE, HE IN HIS HASTE TO SAMPLE THE CONTENTS DID NOT FOLLOW THE SIMPLE DIRECTIONS ON THIS POST, SO THE WATERFORD AIR WAS LOST IN THE FOGS OF ELY. I HAVE NOW RE-PACKAGED FURTHER LUNG THERAPY, BUT I'M AFRAID THIS TIME I CAN ONLY GET WOLVERHAMPTON TYPE WHICH MAYBE A LITTLE INFERIOR. DUE TO HIS HASTE IN THESE MATTERS THE SECOND PACKAGE IS ADDRESSED TO HIS GRAND KIDS, AS I KNOW THEY WILL COMPLETE THIS SIMPLE TASK ON BEHALF OF THERE GRAND DAD.

There I was, hard at it washing my car, on a warm Saturday morning, up the drive came the postman. A nice sized letter in his hand for me. Looking at the handwriting and postmark, I knew instantly that it was communication from my little friend Dave Blower!
I finished washing my car, now with excitement at the recent delivery. Put the washer and tools away, rolled up the hosepipe. Washed and dried my hands and sat down with eager anticipation ready to open my prize. Watched by my daughter Fae, I gently opened the package, looked inside; then removed most of the front paper covering.
Wow!
Nothing! An empty package, my heart dropped, I was in dire need of a cuppa and a roll-up!
What is he like? Must have cost a pretty penny to send!
Good old Dave, I can always rely on him to surprise me.
