Don't Worry John, There are a number of us already booked into the Salisbury Arms.
It's a nice hotel and we used to stay there many years ago. We have also held the evening event there in years gone by.

Have booked in the Salisbury Arms for the 5th October, it seem the place we had last year is booked up with a wedding, so it looks like we will all be split up, hope it goes well.

Just had a phone call from Brian Cunningham that Terry Stokes who runs the Foley House re-union has had a major operation which may affect any further re-unions.I have on our behalf sent him our best wish's.

Hi everyone,
Hope you are all enjoying this excellent weather(it reminds me of those long summer days at Goldings!!)
Many thanks for all the Birthday wishes, both on the guest book and e-mails.
Had a great day. Margaret treated me to a coach trip to Skegness and I was able to spend some time with my sister, who has a caravan out there.
The week started with a 3 day mini Goldings re-union in York with Terry Whitehead, David Barlow, there wives and Margaret.
David and I had a pleasant surprise when we realised the Hotel owner was a former Nottingham Forest player who we had watched many times in the late 60s & early 70s. Barry Lyons played from 1966 - 1973 and was a member of the 1967 side that was runners up to Man. United in the old First Division and lost 2-1 to Spurs in the FA Cup Semi- Final. It would have been a different story if Brian Labone had not taken out Joe Baker in the Quarter - final when we beat Everton 3-2 thanks to a Hat-trick from Ian-Storey-Moore.
On July 2nd & 3rd, I did a two day presentation for Barnardo's Gift in Wills Team at the Lotus Factory Nr Norwich. The event was held for Barnardo Supporters and in the Audience was Brian Mondin the son of Les Mondin who worked in the Goldings print School.
A few weeks ago it was a relative of Frank Tordoff. It's just amazing!!
This evening I am off to do my 28th presentation this year which is in Leicester. Just wonder who I will meet ?
