Today I was contacted by an Old Boy Leslie Lack who arrived at Goldings in 1940,he lives in London but says "I'm to old to attend the re-union at 86! Read his story on the story page "Life at Goldings" He was in Somerset and trained as a Cabinet Maker, but when he left Goldings he became a Printer. I promised to send him a d.v.d. and other items concerning Goldings

Bobby Mac, you asked me today who was the last house captain of Somerset, well taking my info from 66 and 67 Goldonians it appears that you were last in 1966,after that they were group leaders Barry Foote and Gilbert Brown, and Cairns was disbanded 13th November 1967.Pelham Hose Captain:G.Carr,Aberdeen:Ralph Smith.Before you was Norman Brown,Mike Hultum and before that me!
