Dave, I was in the choir and also played the piano at the evening services some times, spending a fair amount of time in the chapel. I well remember a number of pictures hanging on the walls, some were painted by Frank Offord who was an excellent painter. I once did a water colour painting in the chapel myself and Pin Head (who was also an excellent artist himself) was so pleased with it, that he stretched a canvas, gave me some oil paints and asked me to do it again, which I did. I later went onto win the headmasters prize for endevour and I chose as my prize, a Reevs paint box and Bob Newton took me in his car to collect it from the little art shop which was near the war memorial in Hertford.

Happy Birthday Mick, When I came out of the RAF I ended up playing for the Old Boys at football and at Table Tennis, young Mick played for both teams,its always nice to see you at reunions,all the way from Kent, even though you still call me the "Old Man! best wishes Sam( and Im only 81)
