While in Hertford! does anyone remember Wiggingtons Antiques Shop just across from the Library, I thought they would always be there, but sadly no more Wiggingtons is now an up market coffee shop Cafe' (Can't think what they did with all that junk they had in the yard.) Seriously and sadly Hertford is starting to change.

Hi everyone, had a great birthday yesterday with Margaret treating me to the Battle Proms at Burghley House near Stamford on Saturday Night and it was fantastic, Spitfire, Fireworks, Cannons, Flag waving and all that. During the interval, I sat with my glass of wine admiring Burghley House it' self but came to the conclusion that IT AIN'T A PATCH ON GOLDINGS!!
On the subject of Goldings, I was doing some research on Barnardos using GOOGLE....If you type in "Barnardos at Dymchurch" and click immages, you will find some photo's of Barnardo children on the Beach and some of the Verney. If you then type in "Dr Barnardos" and click on videos, there is some footage of Goldings Boys traing for Wimbledon. Hope this info is of interest to some of you.
