This story I need to share with you but his name must remain secret but he now lives in the Chatham area of England! Last week he took his pet goldfish and bowl to the vets. The vet enquires "What seems to be the problem Peter" "My goldfish is epileptic" The vet says "Well I can't see anything wrong with it" So the Goldings boy who's name shall remain secret replies! "Well you haven't taken him out of the bowl yet!

Well remembered Tony,I am sure we called them bomber jackets in the 50`s. I always had a brown colour, good for hiding things in when scrumping and things like that, many a packet of snout as well, as a prefect I was allowed to smoke so had no need to hide them.Take care all and see some of you at the reunion.

HI Dave and Mal and all you Old Boys out there, have been trying to find time to comment on the front page picture of all the boys sitting and having to wait for a 1922 picture to be taken, the dinner must have been cold! and there were about 16 boys to each side of the table, when we were there we had 5 a side to each table, it looks like the nearer you were to the camera the more food on the plate, reminds me of the 2 sausages photo, but we can't blame our good mate Bobby for that, even though he was a licker. Now I am living back in the town I was in when I left Goldings I had a thought the other night, and what came to mind was the corduroy navy blue jackets we had, cut just in the same shape as the 60s/70s denim jackets, but I think they had a zip. I dont think you remember them, but it is a good bit of trivia for you to mull over. Looking forword to seeing you all at the ho down. Tony
