A plea from Woody, Looking for a guarantor to enable my daughter Fae to move closer to me to look after me in my old age. Criteria is own home and income of 18k or more per annum. finances not a problem as willing to deposit substantial amount into bank account. At a recent Barnardo event in the Midlands I met a lovely Old Barnardo Girl (Francis), who went into Barnardo's at 7, her younger brother was 6. After 50 or so years being apart and searching, she found him. He was a Goldings Boy and she would like to contact anyone who remembers him. He was in Goldings early to late 40s she thinks, she's not sure of any details his name is Norman Hutchinson, then she would like to pass these contacts on to him.
So if anyone remembers Norman please contact me through the site.

Overheard in the Macandrew,but to protect the person any embarrassment lets just call him a sailor from Chatham. But this is a snippet of the conversation.
"I went on leave and was given a dog, but lost him the next day". So my mate said " Put an ad in the local paper" which I did, but two weeks later no luck.So his mate said "I'm surprised that no one has been in touch, what did you put on the ad?"
The little jolly future sailor replied "Here Boy"
