I'm not sure if Les was a Goldings Boy Len,I haven't traced him in any of the Goldonian's or Guild Messenger's we have, but even so another Barnardo boy less from this fast shrinking family.I'm sure all of us offer our sympathy to his family and friends.

Hi Dave I dont know if you knew a Les Cork. I dont know if he went to Goldings, but he was at New Lodge from 1949-55. so sorry to say that he Passed away on the 21st of August after a long Illness. on behalf of all the boys that knew him , our Condolence goes to his Wife & family sad loss.

Dave was sitting with another Goldings Boy from the retirement center on a bench under a tree when one turns to Dave and says:
I'm 70 years old now and I'm just full of aches and pains. I know you're about my age. How do you feel?'
to which Dave replies 'I feel just like a newborn baby.'
Really!? Like a newborn baby!?'
Yes. No hair, no teeth, and I think I just wet my pants.'
