Overheard in the Macandrew,but to protect the person any embarrassment lets just call him a sailor from Chatham. But this is a snippet of the conversation.
"I went on leave and was given a dog, but lost him the next day". So my mate said " Put an ad in the local paper" which I did, but two weeks later no luck.So his mate said "I'm surprised that no one has been in touch, what did you put on the ad?"
The little jolly future sailor replied "Here Boy"

In our local paper police have just released information about the body found in our local canal.He was found in the water wearing womens under clothe's and a England Football Shirt.
Police have removed the shirt so has not to embarrass the family!

I have just recieved an e-mail from Barnardo's advising me that the award winning TV advert "Turn around" will be run again on major terrestrial and satellite channels including ITV and channel 4 after 7.30pm from Today until July 25th.
The ad will be shown on channels and between programmes that are totally appropriate and appeal to our primary target audience. The TV Ad will be supported by online, PR and fundraising activity during this period.
