Sunday I had a phone call from a gentleman Arthur Johnson who told me his father Harold Charles Johnson arrived at Goldings on April 1922,and was one of the original boys to go to Goldings from Stepney.He was a Carpenter and Joiner and was one of the boys who presented the Prince of Wales with a tie box when he officially opened Goldings,and he has the photo of the occasion.

Just to let everyone know the reunion invitations have been sent out to Barnardos, so they will shortly be arriving to Old Boys with address's Barnardo's hold.
