Hi Dave& Mal, no I have not forgotten Our Reunion,once again what a great job you & your lovely Wife Mal and all your family Grandson,Daughter & Husband not forgetting as always EllenPerrier.
What a Team, thank you all once again. It was sad I could not make it to see our dear friends,David & Denise at Golding's we missed them very much. Lets hope there will be another time.There where such a lot of friends,to many to mention, but will say a few like, John Sansom, David Swinger, Joan James, not forgetting Brian Hird & his wife June , also Daughter Michelle& and her lovely Daughter Amy, Brian was with me at my first Dr Barnardo's at Euston Hall Norfolk in 1940.

As Pop and David Wheatley reminded me, that next year it will be 50 years since Goldings closed so I think we should make this one special with possibly a service in Waterford Church and repeating the Service that was held in that July 1967 in the Gym as I have a copy of the original.Also Sele Farm manager has suggested that we get the Hall free,that would be Saturday 7th October 2017,we shall see about if that is possible as I deal with it.If it is possible we are also looking at making the re-union free for the Old Boys and families that year,but let me work on the service first and perhaps the other idea's happen with a special visit on the day at Goldings.Other ideas I welcome Dave.

I'd like to thank the great friends who help me every year with the Reunion.
Ellen Perrier, Jean Clark, Peter Drummond, my daughter Michelle and husband Alan even our Josh does a bit (Grandson) of washing up, "the bit he can see under all that hair" without these few the reunion would not be possible in it's present form, we make a great team.
I would also like to thank once again James Perrier for organising the bread donation from his company Allied Bakeries which he has now done for many years , Brian will always be here with us while his family are so involved.
Once again David and Denise allowed us into their home and their hospitality is outstanding.
Lastly thank you all for attending.
Look forward to next year, Dave.

What a lovely evening at the Reunion. The continuing spirit and emotion within our unique family is quite amazing. A very grateful vote of thanks to Dave, Mal, Ellen & the Team for their efforts on our behalf. Remember that 2017 will mark 50 years since the School was formally closed and 60 years since the first Reunion was held in Waterford Village Hall. Our numbers are inevitably falling as the years go by, so let us make next October a very special gathering with perhaps some form of Service at Waterford Church(?) earlier in the day. To be considered an "Honorary Old Boy" of Goldings is something I will always treasure.
