Hi Dave,
My name is Dave Langler and I was at Goldings the same time as yourself, if I remember rightly I think you were in Somerset house I was in Pelham house.
It is some time since I was on this web site as I wasn’t very good on the old computer. It was good to see so many names that I remember. I can honestly say
That my days at Goldings were realy happy days.
I think you trained as a joiner, trained as a painter & decorator. When I left in 1963 I worked as an apprentice painter for 12 months then I got a job as an apprentice with the North west Gas Board.
I set up my own business as a central Heating Engineer in 1979. I now have my son in the business with me.
Is Pop steel still alive as if he is he must be getting on abit, he was a great man. I would realy like to come to an old boy’s reunion if they will be having one in the future

Hi Dave would it be ok to meet you and Mal at the hall a week on Friday as I have never been to this hotel and I'm worried in case I get lost can I leave my car at the hall grounds and come back with you both. If that is ok with you what time to meet you. I asked Peter but got no reply. Love Bluenose xxx
