Peter it was a pleasure to have your company, but when you come to the Black Country you must be prepared to do a little walking! as you found out!
Talking about the Black Country it looks like one of our sons has been choosen to put the England team right and restore some pride!! Sam Allardyce from Dudley...now you'll see a difference, and perhaps use some players that money is not their sole aim!! Billy Wright,Duncan Edwards springs to mind!

Hi Dave & Mal many thanks for the magic week spent at Walsall with you and your family enjoyed myself very much although I am 2 feet shorter than when I arrived, I had a bit of a nightmare journey back to Kent but it was worth it thanks very much

Tracy, Eddie Budd came into Goldings from Thetford in August 1960,he left in December 1963 and was trained as a Shoe Repairer. He was in Pelham House (we had a house system,Somerset,Cairns,Aberdeen,
Macandrew,and Pelham) Pelham House was on the top floor of Goldings. He became the House Captain of Pelham. If you would like to bring his twin to our re-union in October you are most welcome as I'm sure some of the Old Boys from the 60's will remember him. If you go onto our houses page in our index,and go to Pelham House there is a picture of him in the sitting room of Pelham. You could also get his records off Barnardo,s contact Martine King of Aftercare on Tel No 0208 552 1004,good luck.
