My Computer is now repaired after being down a week, so normal service is resumed.
The re-union invites have, and still are being sent out, and as most of you can recall I have to send them to Barnardo's for them to send out as they hold most of the address's, but I have already sent some out as I have some address's (this is due to privacy that Barnardo's do not release contact names and address's!!)so to a certain extent we have to rely on Barnardos for the majority of invitations that are sent, but I think most of us remember it's the first Saturday in October and has been since 1958.
For anyone who needs a copy, and has not yet received one, it can be printed off the site. Go to "re-union" on the site and print off a copy.
The recent sad news I have received is that Fred Barnes has passed away,he was not a Goldings Old Boy, but was in the Much Wenlock Home, and he spent seven years researching Goldings and was a wealth of information with many of old photo's along with many facts on Goldings, and once told me he would have loved to have been at Goldings.
My belated thanks to him and his family who live in Birminham...R.I.P. Fred.
