There was a half completed message on my answer phone a few days ago. The caller had been advised by yourself to call me and all I could understand, it was something to do with Barnardos wanting to charge £20.00 for giving out a telephone number. I tried 1471 but unfortunately, I had recieved a number of other calls so I only had the last callers number. I have no idea what this is about so can you put some details on the site.
Just to let you all know, I had my Cataract operation on Saturday morning and my vision is much improved but finding the computer a little difficult at the momment but sure things will improve in due course.

Yes Len I remember the bird and Mr Bunce, there were a number of Jackdaws about that time of differant ages,and not all "Birds" if I remember. Very best wishes to you and your Lady wife.Sam

Hello Dave/Len
I've recently started following the Goldings Guest Book and find it fascinating.
Len's entry Jan.24,2013 "the jackdaw could have been..."
Was there a mention of a jackdaw somewhere and I missed it?
I was at Goldings at the same time Len was there, could it be the same jackdaw?
I also remember that one of the boys had a big crow called Bill. Unlike the jackdaw, Bill had a monstrous beak. I can't remember which boy owned it.

Well it's slowly melting away the sun has been out all day, not as hot as your sunshine Bob but warm enough to melt away the snow, so I for one will be glad to be able to get about freely again
