As xmas once more fast approach's all of us I'd like you all to think back to our xmas at Goldings and unlike today's kids recall the practical things we yearned for? Half Ounce of Bacca,Extra Rubber Plonk at Supper,a set of Drum Sticks to play on the Radiators,Two Sausages,A part in the Xmas Panto,Packet of Blanco,Somerset winning the Queens Cup,50 plus years in the future, Drummond buying a round at the White Horse? That's what Goldings gave us Dreams! Perhaps Father Christmas was to frightened to call on Goldings in case we pinched all the contents of his sack!makes you think. A VERY MERRY CHRISTMAS TO ALL BOYS AND STAFF,AND A HAPPY AND HEALTHY NEW YEAR To you all.

Hello Peter, fond memories I hope with your photo's of Goldings. Mike Hultum was one of my friends we started the group "The Echo's " together and played on the stage at the Gala Dance. Mike was from Hull and I've tried to make contact but no luck so far, he came onto me once then vanished. You were there the same time as me, remember the film being made "He Who Rides a Tiger" we knocked over the floodlight in Somerset's Bathroom, I'll dig out some info on you from the Goldonian and forward it onto you all the best Dave Blower Somerset 1962-65 Carpenter.

Hi Dave, I was at Dickies from 1961 till 1964/5. My name is Peter Olbison and I forget my first house but my last house was Cairns. Anyway, I noticed the Glaxo photo's and I'm in picture 7 middle row, extreme left of picture. It is nice to see that some old boys still keep their memories alive for the pleasure of others. I remember the Hill's, John Wood, Mickey Hultam, the Streets etc. I also have fond memories of Eric Miller, who sadly passed away some years ago. He would take us to the Lake District and we had a great time. We remained good friends till he passed away. I have attached a few photo's taken in 2009. All the best, Peter.
