Dave, I was not having a go in anyway regarding accomodation. It's just that I prefer to be central and with fellow Goldonians.
The good news is that Dave/Dawn, Margaret and me, are the only bookings into the Salisbury Arms Hotel at the time of placing this message. For those interested, we were quoted £89.00 per room

If you go on the site and click onto re-union info there is plenty B/B listed on the page.
When I came to book the White Horse,they rang me back after three days to say the were fully booked on the saturday with a wedding,but the Prince of Wales pub just up above the hotel has rooms usually available,so don't be easily put off!ring round or use your computer to find rooms,don't allow the re-union to not have your most welcome attendance!

As some will already know, we can't get in the White Horse Hotel this year for the reunion.
I have today tried the Woodhall Arms at Stapleford for the Friday and Saturday nights but that is fully booked. Just managed to get in the Salisbury Arms for the Saturday night only. Had I failed their, then I would have given this years reunion a miss. My advice is to book early if planning to stay overnight

Hi Len, Thanks for that. I cannot believe what an improvement it has made. It was all done so quickly. Went to my Opticians on January 3rd Recieved my appointment on January 7th and had it done at Loughborough Hospital on Saturday January 26th and the procedure took just 15 minutes. Once this has settled down, I will push to have the other done as soon as possible. See you in October, and that won't be long!!!

Hi Alan glad you have had your Cataract done, & if it goes as well as mine it will get better in a short time. I had both mine done 99per cent better don't wear glasses at all got rid of both pairs not bad for 82 year old well almost best of luck Len.
