Sent from my iPad, Hello my name is Ian Keates my name then was Horrell, I think I was there in 1963/4 our house parents were a married couple, he used to run a model railway club and my Number when I joined was 118. I was always in some sort of trouble I remember two brothers who were in my house nick name Dino I was a bugler in the band and learning to be a carpenter. I never finished my trade as I left the school I think it was because of my latest prank we had new house parents and I think I just wanted to test the boundary, so I and I think it was another six of us ran away, it did not go down well. I am a very well and upstanding citizen now and would love to get in touch with any one who may have known or new of this great escape one great friend of mine was Gary Mason he was Carpenter I also new big Geoff Boulter many thanks Ian Keates.

Heat wave conditions and some idiots have started Bush Fires 8 burning in Queensland (none near us ) but poor Tasmania is in real trouble 80 homes lost 2 big fires out of control not a great start to 2013, temp reached 49 in some parts of Aus, only 30 here, have the fire pump set up just in case
