Neville Fletcher rang me yesterday and he got talking about Wimbledon, and how the B.B.C.were to interview them about it and there experience they encountered as Ball Boys.Mr Nixon(chaplain)Goldings 1960-67 who mainly controlled and chose who went did a list of possible questions they were likley to ask and when they came to me(Neville)they asked me who was my favourite tennis player and why so I said "Maria Bueno" so they asked me why?
"Because she's got nice legs!"
My part of the interview was never Broadcast!
Also they did a marching display at Balls Park for Rag Week,and a large Buick turned up, blue and white, two tone, and Skipper introduced me to Del Shannon who was the celebrity who was opening the Rag and he said to me "That was Cool Man"

Nice to hear from you POP, I remember all of them apart from Murray and Dunne, maybe they had gone by 1962/3. We did meet one of them at the Barnardo's Reunion in Barkingside, I think it was Kennedy.
So anyhow Pop, we all hope to see you again in Hertford in Oct
