Spoke to the wife of one of the residents of Goldings today who has verbally agreed to our visit, but I am waiting for her husband to ring me back to confirm the details I have sent him of the proposed visit on the reunion invite.I will keep everyone updated, as I will need to send out the invite's shortly.

Great that you are making a come back Bob. I had a heart attack in 2002 and am perfectly OK now. We will "Sing" again soon Bob and maybe next time we should try "Wooden Heart".On a different subject,
We all know that Goldings opened in 1922. How many know that Wimbledon's Centre also 0pened in 1922? and we all know the rest is history!!!
Look forward to meeting up with everybody again at the Reunion in October and I think we will see another of our Brothers for the first time. Terry Whitehead, another from the school of the 50s.

Yes Bob,when we put our minds to it we are one of the best,got to be the best opening cermonies of all time for the Olympic's,but we still can't take penalties!

Thank you all for your good wishes, had a setback was re-admitted to hospital with a wound infection this has now cleared up and am home again, the nursing was great at all the hospitals, I was first admitted to Robina Hospital then transfered to the Gold Coast hospital then finally to the PA hospital in Brisbane this is a specialist hospital for cardiac surgery
all public hospitals and at no cost to me, great health system in Aus, still a bit sore but up and about and on the mend just have to watch the op areas
What a great Olympics you brits are having just watched 3 golds in the athletics us Ausies are way behind bobr
