To all who was in the dining room when I arrived at Goldings and they asked me "Were you from mate?"
"Walsall!"
"Cor blimey they are now coming in from Poland"
So after that I was adopted by Poland.

Len,sorry I didn't reply to your message sooner but I hope your visit to Hospital went O.K.The reference to the site about no information after the 16th March also happens to be my birthday so the last message on the site prior to the fiasco!was the 16th and people wishing me happy birthday but it also means we have lost important messages since, particular about two old boys who have just found the site,so if you are still looking in please contact the site once more,Ray Lazell was one.The question regarding paying towards the site,when I set this up, one condition was I would fund it personally...that I request to you all it continue's until it may change somewere in later years but the one thing I owe to the school is to give something back that they gave to me!and the Cheque Book which belongs to ALL Goldings Old Boys is only used to for the original purpose THE RE-UNION,as thats how things went wrong before me, but will never happen on my watch...but many thanks for the thought!
Brian Cunningham rang me last night to tell me he has completed the London to Brighton Veterans Car Owners Club run, and all his donations will go to Barnardo's,and he arrived LAST,but like all former Aberdeen boys,this was common at Goldings for them to be in this position,as we used to say "Aberdeen was the strongest house as they held the rest of us all up"
