Was in London last weekend to see the show "Momma Mia" brilliant! and to top it all had a drink with Tony and recalled time spent at Goldings once more...it doesn't seem to diminish the memories we still recall! of our happy youth that we spent there...we were very lucky.
Over the next week or so we will be displaying from the Goldonian's,memories recalled at Wimbledon which was printed in the magazine.
Wimbledon...take note? you were once privileged to have probably the finest ball boys to tread that sacred turf,so just occasionally remind the general public along with the B.B.C.who must have footage they could re-run instead of Eastenders!

Neville Fletcher rang me yesterday and he got talking about Wimbledon, and how the B.B.C.were to interview them about it and there experience they encountered as Ball Boys.Mr Nixon(chaplain)Goldings 1960-67 who mainly controlled and chose who went did a list of possible questions they were likley to ask and when they came to me(Neville)they asked me who was my favourite tennis player and why so I said "Maria Bueno" so they asked me why?
"Because she's got nice legs!"
My part of the interview was never Broadcast!
Also they did a marching display at Balls Park for Rag Week,and a large Buick turned up, blue and white, two tone, and Skipper introduced me to Del Shannon who was the celebrity who was opening the Rag and he said to me "That was Cool Man"
