Dave,
One thing I miss on our excellent web-site is news of the Irish contingent we used to have at Goldings. Names that spring to mind are Jimmy Kennedy, Wilbert Workman, Jackie Murray, Billy Hewitt, Billy Hoy and David Dunne all were good at sport. I believe they went back to Ireland. I know Ike Aviston still gets to the reunions but he lives in England. There must be reunions in Ireland that some of these get to.

Hi Dave and everyone just to let you know that I had a 65th birthday party last night and so far I have raised £1720.00 for my graves project the party was a brilliant success. Alan Dearman and Margaret was also there. I'm so lucky to have so many friends who want to help me raise money for my project.
Dave I don't think you are 40 next year maybe 400 you forgot the zero.

To all who was in the dining room when I arrived at Goldings and they asked me "Were you from mate?"
"Walsall!"
"Cor blimey they are now coming in from Poland"
So after that I was adopted by Poland.
