I remember Mrs, Darton very well, she was one of the many unsung members of staff. She was there many years doing a variety of jobs, including Housemother of Somerset. All the time I knew her she lived in the village at Waterford.

Dear Mike,
After reading Peter and Ann's major concern regarding their Tesco Shares,and like Greece our worry how your wittling enterprise may affect a bigger national debt than is already present in our country, would you mind a small piece of advice before you proceed with the Mike Justice Carpentry Rewards All People,commonly referred to as MJ'S CRAP.Please "don't do it" it will affect Peters spending money given to Ann from her shares,which will mean that he will never get a round in and it will be echoed every year in Hertford "can't get a round in!we have been ruined by M.J.C.R.A.P. Corporation LTD (very).
P.S. Lets just hope his thumb takes a long time to heal!

Timothy,I am somewhat amazed ref M's F.Darton going back to 1951 in the Goldonians (school magazine) she was at Goldings,sometimes also working in Sick Bay,then going forward further she was still there in 1960,do you have any more details about her that we could add to the site i.e. were she came from,what made her join Goldings,and were did she live when she left and more if you have it! very interesting.Do you recall her "Pop"? or any of you lads out there!
