Bob, Thanks for the info. I missed sunday's Wimbledon as I was at a sunny and very hot Skegness. Went with our local community group on their annual bus trip. Margaret and I was a little upset this year as the cost was increased 100% on last years price and thought we may have to forgo this years goldings reunion but with a little effort,we managed to find the £2.00 each!!

Should I mention Alan that the boys and girls and the doubles was won by
Aussies several from the Gold Coast great to see up and coming players doing so well no matter where they come from, watched the mens final until 2am this morning

Hi John, You are correct, Leon Broady does come from Stockport but he is based in Nottingham and Trains/Plays at the Nottingham Tennis Centre. My Heart went out to him but as you say, he did not play as well as he is capable.
Nice to hear from you and look forward to meeting up again at the reunion.

Hi Alan.
Was Liam Broudy born in Nottingham? only I saw it on BBC news that he comes from Stockport were Fred Perry came from,watched him in the boys final did'nt play as well as normal.
