I'm afraid our police have no sense of humour.I was stopped at midnight and asked were I was going.
I said I was going to listen to a lecture on the affects of alcohol on the human body.
The police man says "Who going to give a lecture at this time of night?"
I said "The Wife!"

Well said Dave, Brian, also Bob we have been a team all these years we are all Brothers. I spent more time with mates at goldings than I have ever done with my own family. How do we expect Dave & his lovely Wife Mal & his team to keep us together when there is some one out there gunning for who ever so please get it sorted out & forget it ever happened like good boys my best Regards to all my brothers from goldings

I had only been back off holiday for an hour this afternoon before getting up to date with the guest book and found it sad to read what's been going on regarding face book. Does it really matter where we promote the name of Barnardo's or Goldings ? Of course it dose'nt. I promote the name of both whenever given the opportunity to do so. It may be an interview with the press or radio, The Goldings Cup Final, The Goldings award or when I give my Barnardo talks and presentaions to members of the public etc. which I always end by holding up the booklet of my life storey "Before During and After Barnardos" and directing my audience to the Goldings web site, So Please, please, please don't lets turn the clock back a few years and start falling out with each other because that could destroy our elite family. Most of us will recall a trade union slogan, " United we stand, divided we fall" and history has proved this to be correct. Our web site is unique and our family more so. Lets ALL KEEP IT THAT WAY
