I received this email after being in Bath with John for Eric Mckay's Barnardo Award. John had travelled to Bath from Manchester by train and was staying in a hotel near us, and as usual he led me astray partying,
I thought I'd share it, I don't know how he does it he's fitter than me!
Hi Dave & Mal.
just to let you know I got back home alright on saturday, I enjoyed your company very much we always have a good laugh together don't we, we went for a meal when i got back home then about half ten I went to my local the Coach& Horses and didn't get home until 2 in the morning so I lost more than the hours sleep with the clocks going forward still like I say I should have been born a Lords son sleep most of the day and booze all night. keep well see you at the reunion unless some other event comes up like Mals devorce party or maybe her birthday party. lots of love to Mal.

Many happy returns to our site after our friends at B.T. decided to "cock it up" to make it faster! and our technical support team from India who insisted we "must have a yellow plug!" and that they would "Check the line" but were unable to realise we were talking to them on it! So with the help of Lee our local whiz kid, and sponsor of our Guest book,in the words of General MaCarthur we will retutn!(pocket a little lighter) we did no thanks British Telecrap,commonly called B.T.
In the meantime Mr Bob Robertson,you must be aware that tin hats are very useful for extreme golf ball size hail stones in your part of the world,I forgot to mention Bob the sun the last few days has burnt my back!. G'Day from hail free England...joking Bob.
