Dear David,
Hope you are well etc.
I am pleased to tell you that the Goldings Cup is to be played for on Tuesday 27 April at the County Ground, Letchworth with a 7.00pm K.O.
I shall not be there this year as I have another final to arrange at the same time!
Nick Cousins will be in charge and our Chairman Andy Braithwaite will also be in attendance.
Please let me know asap if you or a colleague will be in attendance so that I can name our Guest of Honour.

And the Band Played On
|
Two Goldings boys met up on a Cruise after being friends at Goldings all those years ago.
To protect their identity we'll call them Brian and Peter,both from MaAndrew,but I will not give anymore clues!
The one says "It's awfully quiet on deck tonight."
The other say's "Everyone is probaly watching the band."
First says "There isn't a band playing tonight."
His mate say's "Well I definitely heard somone say earlier A band on the ship".

A Goldings boy goes to his bank in Chatham for a loan and the teller says to him "I'm sorry but the loan arranger's off today."
O.K,I'll talk to Tonto if he's in."
