A couple of days ago we lost our Queen. A sad loss to our country and the end of an era. We will not see the like again.

Excellent idea Simon, the majority of us would welcome the opportunity, some of the Old Boys may want to remain private for their own reasons, but I know the majority of Old Boys would be over the moon to take part. PS we have a DVD charting the history of Golding from the 30s 40s 50s 60s if you would like to view it, also our website www.goldings.org. can we have your permission to add your message to our guestbook.

Firstly, yes, please do add my message to your group. Secondly, perhaps we should arrange a time for a call to take about the logistics of the day. I’d like to get at least a loose plan in place, so that we can be as efficient as possible with the group’s time on the day.
I’m very excited to be involved! I was just looking through your photo archive on the website, and it’s quite astonishing to think that so many people have passed through the Hall over the years. There’s an amazing photo on your site of some cadets sitting on the back stairs into the garden. My partner Denise and I sit on those steps almost every day in the summer.
