The picture of Mr Randall reminded me of the time we had night class lessons with him one night a week in the winter months I can't remember what the subject was it could have been maths, being in the tinsmiths meant we had two nights lessons with Mr de Boeck geometry and practical drawing, we would get Mr Randall to deversify from the lesson and tell us some part of his life so he would spend half the lesson recalling his experiences, such as the time he served in the first world war and the time he was a sniper in the trenches.

Yes Dave about the shoes, if you put your right foot in one, and your left foot in the other, then do the laces up they keep your feet warm in the winter. I know that cos I was in the bootmakers for a while. Tony
