I did have a Goldings hymn book for a number of years but can't find it now. What I have got is a presentation new testament on being confirmed by the Bishop of StAlbans in 1943.
I also have a holy bible presented to me on leaving Barnardo's it has a inscription on the inside cover that reads "Presented to John Mark Horn.on leaving the homes With best wishes for his future welfare and prosperity.from his sincere friend.D.J.MacAndrew."

Re. School ties. I know I'm in my dotage now. However, I was at Goldings eleven years and at one time or another in charge of every House, with the exception I think of Somerset. If there had been School ties or House ties I'm sure I would still have some as mementos.
If someone has a School tie I would like to see it or even photographs of boys wearing them. I wear a Goldings tie at the reunion, one with the school badge on, but that is a reunion tie. Will someone prove me wrong.
