Dear Mr. Blower,
I do apologise for not acknowledging your e-mail earlier but, as you can imagine, this is a very busy time for us.
The information you present regarding the ball boys for the early days at the William Baker School is quite fascinating. The individual stories are most interesting and show how much the times have altered.
Many hours training goes into the schedule these days. Also, around 1950 there were 50-60 ball boys, now there is something like 250!
Your suggestion to have a plaque or bench situated on the grounds is interesting,can I suggest you write to the club commitee,the address I will forward on to you
Many thanks for supplying the ball boy information - we will hold this on file for future reference.
