The lads were all at the School the same time as me,standing from left Mick Smith Kerr, John Hilton, Eric Holden Front row left Mick Cowley, Watkins and of course the no name? perhaps John Hilton would know who he is, I did No.1 court in 57, great times.

I can put names to five on the Wimbledon Photo, need help with the chap in the front right.
Nice to read that Jack from Kitchens is still out there, often did kitchen duties, liked all the toast and cups of tea that went with the chore, also Jack a lot of boys have done well on your porrigde lumpy or not.

A MESSAGE FROM DR JORY AND NURSE BATEMAN..SO LISTEN UP.
Me and nurse warned you boys all those years ago that you would go BLIND.Now I notice at past reunions that most of you need glasses well we warned you all.As for the young man from stevenage,well he ended up with cataracts?you always get one who goes too far.We did suggest to Mr Wheatley that you were all issued with boxing gloves at lights out,but it was declined as Mr Maslin reported that the school funds wouldn't stretch to such an expense,Mr Embleton suggested knitting,but this was thrown out as pointed out by Mr Nixon that we didn't need scarfs or jumpers as Dr Barnardos supplied them,but he would go back up to the chapel and pray for us.The best idea which we adopted was by Mr Tempest that was at lights out we must all wave to each other untill we fell asleep,after that the nightwatchman would check all the boys had their hands outside the blankets untill reveille,and to report any boys who didn't conform to this rule,the punishment was to report to Mr Wheatleys office for the cane.There was only three out there this morning,P.Drummond,B.Perrier,and J.Chapman.Mrs Jeffrey,and the laundry staff have sent the following message
"Thank you Mr Wheatley for your thoughtful attention to our former problem and most of it has diminished other than Macandrew, doesn't the nightwatchtman call on them every hour?? like the other house's,we have used Omo,Daz,and finally Lux Flakes but still we can't manage to starch the sheets,is there any more suggestions from your staff?? Mr Hooper chief maintainence officer.
