Hello Bob and Roma, so nice to hear from you both. The weather over hear is very hot, the last time it was this hot for me was when we were down at the swimming pool at Hartham Common with the "lunatic fringe" it was hot on that parade ground round about tea time! but as my mother said "David is easily led" The bus pass has come in very handy, I can this year get to the reunion from Walsall to Hertford free, just got to get on a total of 23 buzz's (that how I used to say it according to you lot) The walking stick I've threw away, cause after going to see Aspel at Lords!! I am cured (thats the lords that the miracles happen en it) Going back this year for my second miracle! Drummond buying a round, but I think this one will test it, so don't hold your breath? I'm hoping to do a write up on our sports day soon, can any of you lot remember were the events were held. I remember the long jump was the other side of the running track, but were was the "high jump", throwing the shot and discus, javelin, throwing the cricket ball and any other that we can recall. Got to sign off now Bob and Roma,Mal's joined me in the local Derby and Joan club as entertaiment officer, so I'm looking at reforming the "Echo's" remember....Michael Row The Boat To Shore...that was real heavy rock down at the "Gym", but I think they'll struggle with the "Twist". Take care both of you hope to see you soon, but don't wait another 40 years as you may miss the "round off Drummond"
P.S. Now I've got my bus pass according to the bus driver I've now become a member of the "TWIRLY GANG" can anyone tell me what that means???

its about time you took mal on a holiday so how are things going back in walsall its very hot out here need the a,c. still working hard out here just about finished the hilton, l dont think l will back in england this year as we are both having xmas out here next year l'll see you if the man upstairs says so as we are all old timers now, never mind you got your bus pass before me and walking stick see pops team went down they will be playing walsall next year anyway hope the family are all ok as we are so take care catch you all later bob and roma

I am hoping to come along to the reunion this year to finally meet with the faces my Dad has been banging on about for the (however many) past years. However I will also be bringing with me, with permission, of course, a collection pot if anyone has any spare change to put into the fundraising fund.
Dave should, by then, have sent through the sponsorship running gear whilch I'll happily wear throughout the day. :-)
Happy Belated Birthday to Mal too.. was nice chatting with you the other evening.

Hi Mal very sorry I missed your birthday but I've been in Ireland, and I dont have access to the internet in the village, but back now. I'll be back for 5/6 weeks and if work goes well I'll come up to see you and 10 bob, and I'll pay for the curry and chips.
