My opinion after reading the latest GM is that it is not giving us the information that we, the main readers and subscribers, want.

Sadly, the Dr. is missing from the Barnardos, and that is what the majority of us remember.

Those with responsibilities for producing the GM must have contact details for most of us Old Boys and Girls, and there are those amongst us all that will have interesting material to publish, and encourage others to WANT to subscribe to it.

All newsprint and the many various tabloids print what appeals to those that read them, otherwise they would not achieve the sales that they do, Barnardos and the GM, in particular, could do well to realise this, and gain more readership amongst us.

Taking place soon after our reunion this year, the Barnardo Cardiff Half Marathon will take place, the local paper there has displayed an interest in obtaining a “story” from me, as my daughter will be running for Barnardos. I haven’t much of a story to tell, but I shall point them in the direction of this site, to enable them to see the good that can come from the past.

Now for the bad news: I shall be attending the reunion this year, possibly only during the daytime, as I shall have some of the tribe with me also, but I shall darken the door for some of the day.

See you all soon.

Woody.

Whilst I agree with both your comments, it is the only avenue via Barnardo's that we have to find friends and staff from our past.Whats happened to the "Trying to find page",but we should be forwarding our thoughts and idea's to them and see what response we get.
I have just had a thought, perhaps Charlie and his wife sponsored it and re badged it "The Organic Guild Messenger" a step by step guide in talking to the flowers (cop the front page)

I agree with Brian there is nothing of any interest to read in the Guild Messenger & when you send any thing up to be put in there .it does not get put in it .It is not worth £12 of any one's money .there used to be a discount for Senior sitizen but they have just realized we are all that .
