Hi all,
hope you all have a great sunny bank holiday. I saw William Witlea today in Hammersmith London, I was driving so I shouted out "STAND BY YOUR BEDS". I saw in my wing mirror he was about to come over to me when the lights changed, before I have been to his house 2 times to see if I could get him to come to the reunion but he did not want to know. but as he was plodding along to day, and hearing someone shout out stand by your beds, his reaction seemed to change. He turned recognised me, and I think it made him feel he's not alone out there. I'll go and see him again at his home and take my laptop, and try again, and we may see him at the reunion
I'll give him a lift, but today my shouting that out of the car window made a inpact.

Neville Fletcher rang me today asking if anyone knows the whereabouts of Eric Magellan,he thinks he is in the Bristol area,and after Neville left Goldings he lodged with him along with Chris Horsnell and three or four other boys from Goldings in London,or if anyone knows a system to weed out other Goldings lads so we can once more rekindle friendships or battles that we all enjoyed? at Goldings, as time is passing us by.
Neville has also found out some programmes from Wimbledon that shows the boys being presented to the Duchess of Kent at the final on centre court,and it must have been about now that we started training for the event with Joe Patch,Corbett,or my favourite teacher?? Bernard Nixon....he must still have my playboy magazine he confiscated off me in the school block,I would have thought by now he has read it! see ya off to the Ashmore Park under 15's final match.

Well done Paul,got to watch that old timer down at Chatham,jolly jack tar,if we all buy him a pint to get rid of him,he'll end up drunk again without putting his hands in his pocket like last year...remember he was from Macandrew not Somerset they were so tight they could float in water! and a "pin" lasted them a week and that was all of them!
