Hi Bobby, Thanks for your comments, yes things do change like you having 2 sausages for your arrival photograph after that things changed! Anyhow after the wreath laying ceremony, I went to the White Horse for a coffee, and asked if I could have the breakfast I paid for on the 3rd Oct, but did not have time to eat it as Blower and Drummond got me plastered!!! The reply was no!. Why I asked and she said once its cold we throw it out. Oh I thought if they had done that when we were in Goldings we would have all starved to death. Tony

Captain Mainwering, can l take my scarf off now sir as it has been 44 years when l left home, and still think about the times we had and the brotherhood of our home, Thanks to the staff who took the time in their lives to help us on our road to freedom as you said Captain (When we where coming back from our holiday, we came back on the day, but later we ran away so why did we always come back) its knowing the Staff was there for us even in bad times they helped us. l'd just like to say thank you to all the Staff. Well Captain Mainwering l think Jones is doing a great thing for the men who fell in the Wars, we knew of in our time. So l say to you Tony well done. Now you are a lot older than you was at Goldings l don't think you would have done this in your early days and as you get older you become more of a man and that's due to your upbringing at Goldings. Many of us when we left went down many roads to find our place in life, in my case my place of work, l work to help other men learn a Trade in Carpentry all down to Mr Nutter, who he helped me in the carpenters shop l think Pinhead might have said, "look after him" as l had been in most trades, and l think Mr Ted Nutter might have been in the war he came to help all of us so what can one say. Well done Tony for what you are doing at the Waterford Cenotaph Bob and Roma
