Hi I have just found your goldings guest book as i was at goldings 1956 to 1959 when i left to join the army. i was in Aberdeen House with Pop Steele. I have enjoyed reading some of the messages seen some nanes iremember. All the best to everybody. I was learning sheetmetal work.

A couple of years ago,on our re-union day there was a traffic jam on the road leading to the venue,old boys were hooting there horn,and having a right old moan.There was a tap on Henry Peete's camper van window,it was Peter Drummond.Whats going on Pete,why the hold up.A gang of Herts Training School blokes have kidnapped our re-union organiser Dave Blower and demanding £50 for his return otherwise they threaten to pour petrol over him and set him on fire."Well why the hold" up said Tony Angell.Brian Perrier said "We are going from car to car asking all the old boys to make a donation" Bill Roe said "Well how much have you got so far" Len Harpin replied "Well so far everyone is giving a gallon?
