Sorry for the delay in writing,George Sandman was a master(49-50s) as in David Wheatleys note on this site, he wasnt in the war but joined up on leaving Goldings. I have been in contact with George and his wife Shelia for many years, they visit us when they come to Hertford. Scoffer Howitt is a Goldings Old Boy and has his shop in Ware, he is on the front page in the football team. My very best wishes John to you and your wife, and as you say, see you at the next reunion. John
