Hi Andy,
I am again seeking your help with regards to Barnardo's by asking if you have the means to forward information to other local BBC radio stations around the UK. We are trying to find as many old boys who attend "Goldings" in Hertford and we know there are many who have never had contact since leaving Goldings and are not aware of our Web Site and Annual reunions, which first began in 1957 and are always held on the First Saturday in October. This year's falls on 4th October at Sele Farm Community Centre, Perret Gardens, Longwood Road, Sele Farm Estate, Hertford, SG14 2LW from 10.30am till late and everyone is welcome. full details can be found on our web site: www.goldings.org or contact Dave Blower 01922 615789
Our site Andy, contains a wealth of information and stories about Goldings and Barnardo's. From a personal point of view, I'm proud to be a member of the largest family in the world and my life story can be found under stories "Before, During and After Barnardo's along with my Goldings profile. Goldings also provided the Ball Boys for Wimbledon for many years until it's closure in 1967.
I hope you find time to take a look at our site and hope you are able to circulate the Information.

Can anyone else follow the lead that Alan has gave and send this to your local radio station,newspaper,and perhaps the local Barnardo Shop to try and muster further more Goldings boys who are not aware of our re-union,you never know you may locate a friend that you had at Goldings and would like to meet once again? go on give it a try!!
