So sorry to hear about Mick Smith Kerr, I played with Mick for the Old Boys football, and with him and Frank Stevenson table-tennis for the old Boys.Best wishes Mick for a speedy recovery, and look forward to seeing you next year at the reunion SAM

Just had an e-mail from my old mate, Mike Smith Kerr who tells me he will not be at this years reunion.
Sadly, Mike is recovering from bowel cancer but I am pleased to report that he is on the mend and is looking forward to next years reunion.
I'm sure you will all join me in sending Mike our very best wishes and a speedy recovery.

Hi Everyone, just returned from holiday late last night and catching up on things before losing my PC for the next couple of days.
I feel sad having read about what happened to Robert Smith and the anger he feels. I can only endorse what others have said, Robert, please don't take it out on Goldings but take it up with Barnardo's after care if you feel this way, who know's, it may help. I would further suggest looking at some of the goldings stories and profiles because there are more positives than negatives that came out of many Barnardo's homes all over the country and not just goldings.
As for myself, I had Four great years at Barkingside and a further Three & a Half at Goldings, the memories of which will stay with me for ever.
I look forward to seeing everyone at the reunion next week.
