TODAY I WENT TO CANNOCK TO SEE THE SUMO WRESTLER WHEN I ARRIVED AT THE SITE HE'D HAD IT AWAY WITH ALL THE SCRAP METAL, I WAS AFRAID TO PARK UP MY CAR IN CASE HE HAD MY WHEELS.

It is good to see the activity that this site is generating from the Dr. Barnardo Family. Although I have little free time, I make a point of looking in at least3-4 times each week.
His site is a credit to Dave and his family, and also shows that the lads are still very much lads at heart.
At present, there are no gifts of grandchildren due around the same time as this years reunion, so, fingers crossed, I will eventually make it. It will be good to meet up again, and chat with some of you, although we are getting fewer in number, sadly.
Dave, and Dave Jr. please keep up the good work you are doing, this old man and his ever increasing brood appreciate it all.
The very best wishes to all Dr. Barnardo’s boys and girls out there, hope to be more active this year.
